Return of Material definition

Return of Material. Our written policy is that no defective or nonconforming goods shall be returned, repaired, or disposed of without our written consent. Should there be a question as to material acceptability; an appropriate sample should be submitted to our Sales or Quality Representative. The sample must include a complete description of the problem, any laboratory analysis, and other pertinent information necessary to properly identify the root cause. Should analysis of the sample dictate, we will authorize the return of material, scrapping of the material, or other measure as appropriate.

Examples of Return of Material in a sentence

  • Nonconforming goods must be returned to IBM for replacement, accompanied by a IBM "Authorization for Return of Material" form.

  • Return of Material Upon completion of tenure, employment or volunteer work with the ARPKD/CHF Alliance, ­­­­ ­_______________________________ will deliver to the ARPKD/CHF Alliance, and not keep, copy or deliver to any other person or entity, any and all items and copies containing confidential information, or materials from or related to the ARPKD/CHF Alliance.

  • Cost of materials means the cost of components, parts or materials which are intended for the production, manufacturing or assembling of the goods bid for and which are not produced, manufactured or assembled in the factory where the production, manufacture or assembly of such goods occurs, including freight, landing costs, port charges, import duties and other import costs of such components, parts or materials and all costs in connection with the handling and transport thereof prior to delivery at that factory;

  • value of materials means the customs value at the time of importation of the non-originating materials used, or, if this is not known and cannot be ascertained, the first ascertainable price paid for the materials in the territory concerned;

  • Confidential Material means all information, in any form or medium, known or used by City or an Affiliate of the City which is not known to the general public, including, but not limited to, the know-how, trade secrets, strategic plans, technical information, product information, supplier information, customer information, financial information, marketing information and information as to business opportunities, methods and strategies and research and development of the City and its Affiliates. If and to the extent any Confidential Material is included in any report, assessment, diagram, memorandum or other document or copied or reproduced in any other form or medium, such report, assessment, diagram, memorandum, document or Confidential Material in such other form or medium will be deemed to be Confidential Material.

  • Publicity Material means the promotional gifts, catalogues, pamphlets and all and any advertising and publicity material whatsoever which an Exhibitor wishes to display, distribute or use at the Exhibition.

  • Confidential Materials means all tangible materials containing Confidential Information, including without limitation written or printed documents and computer disks or tapes, whether machine or user readable.
