Scope 1 definition

Scope 1 means direct greenhouse gas emissions relating to natural gas, transport fuel and refrigerants (or other similar categories), substantially as defined in GRI Standard 305-1A, as disclosed in the Borrowersannual Sustainability Report.
Scope 1 means the absolute greenhouse gas ("GHG") emissions from the Group's own operations covering its fully consolidated activities.
Scope 1 means the direct greenhouse gas emissions emitted by the Group in absolute value, expressed in tCO2e, corresponding to greenhouse gas emissions from the Group's Operated Sites (e.g. from on site combustion of natural gas, fuel or coal).

Examples of Scope 1 in a sentence

  • Within 36 months after initially filed Disclosures - Disclosures must report on progress towards meeting the GHG reduction target(s), and as specified in Section F.7. GHG inventories and targets referenced above must include Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions.

  • Upon request, suppliers will share Scope 1, 2, and 3 greenhouse gas emissions data with GM, and/or publish that data through GM’s preferred third-party.
