Scope 1 means direct greenhouse gas emissions relating to natural gas, transport fuel and refrigerants (or other similar categories), substantially as defined in GRI Standard 305-1A, as disclosed in the Borrowers’ annual Sustainability Report.

Examples of Scope 1 in a sentence

  • Within 36 months after initially filed Disclosures - Disclosures must report on progress towards meeting the GHG reduction target(s), and as specified in Section F.7. GHG inventories and targets referenced above must include Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions.

  • Upon request, suppliers will share Scope 1, 2, and 3 greenhouse gas emissions data with GM, and/or publish that data through GM’s preferred third-party.
