Greenhouse gas emissions intensity represents a company’s most recently reported or estimated Scope 1 (direct) + Scope 2 (indirect) greenhouse gas emissions converted to carbon dioxide (CO2) equivalents, normalised by sales in USD (metric tons per USD million sales).
The inventories for calendar years 2000, 2007, 2012 and 2016 were limited to Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions; the inventories for other years may include Scope 3 emissions.
