Server Instance definition

Server Instance means a network, email or other server, whether physical or virtual.
Server Instance means the right to install the Cisco Information Server on a single Server, running on a maximum of one native operating system or one Virtual Server.
Server Instance means an AWS EC2 instance. License Grant Subject to the terms and conditions hereof, Licensor hereby grants and Licensee accepts, a non-exclusive, limited right and license: a. to Reproduce the Licensed Programs for its own use on the Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2). Examples of Server Instance in a sentence

  • If Downtime occurs for an Application, the Outage is counted against the Server Instance, and the Server Instance is considered unavailable for purposes of this Service Level.

  • If a Server Instance itself appears to be operational, but the Application(s) running on the Server Instance is not Available, then the Server Instance is considered unavailable.

  • Notwithstanding the foregoing, if the Software Product is a DataFlex WebApp Server, use of the Software Product on a Server Instance you own or control or use via commercial Internet hosting services or so-called “cloud computing” services is allowed provided that the Software Product is otherwise installed and used according to the entitlements and restrictions of this License Agreement.

  • You may install one DataFlex WebApp Server on one Server Instance to execute the licensed Number of Applications.

  • Resource Unit usage for Semi-Managed Server Instance Support will be measured on a per Instance basis.

  • The Semi-Managed Server Instance Support RU is classified using the Service Tier methodology described in Attachment 4-E (Server Service Tier Matrix).

  • If you use the default settings to install Microsoft SQL Server, please select [Default] here, if you have changed the port or Instance Name, please select [Port] or [Instance Name] and fill in the [SQL Server port] or [SQL Server Instance name] information described in the previous Chapter.

  • The Disaster Recovery Support and Semi-Managed Server Instance Support Resource Unit Categories are set forth in Attachment 4-A as optional services.

  • A Name Server Host means an individual server that is responsible for providing authoritative DNS resolution services for a Top Level Domain A Name Server Instance means an anycast node of one or more TLD Name Server Hosts.

  • As an express condition for the license granted hereunder, Licensee agrees that any use during the term of this Agreement of such open source versions of the Software, whether in a Production Server Instance or a Non-Production Server Instance, shall be deemed use of the Software for purposes of the calculation of fees payable under the Agreement.


More Definitions of Server Instance

Server Instance means a server instance normally on a Server Unit or via VM Cloud based technology. Service: means the professional Support management of the Customers IT Network as detailed on the Customer Order Form and in line with the agreed IT Service Level as identified within this schedule.
Server Instance means a single instance of a virtualized Server (see Virtual Server Instance). Service Commencement Date means the date, following the applicable Migration Completion Date and HPES’ assumption of responsibility for performance of the applicable Services, on which HPES begins to provide the applicable Services to one or more Service Recipients in accordance with the Agreement.
Server Instance. A network operating system environment installed a) directly on a physical hardware server or b) on a virtual server, including a “cloud” server instance, that is configured to share resources among multiple End Users’ computers or devices that are connected to it. Non-running, stored virtual Server Instances require licenses as defined in the Software Product Price List or Product Information Document for a specific Software Product. A specific connection technology is not consequential to the definition of a Server Instance; the existence of multiple End User connections and the sharing of resources are the essence of a Server Instance for the purposes of this License Agreement. For licensing purposes, every installation of a Software Product on any Server Instance requires an individual, unique, Software Product serial number and registration code even if multiple Server Instances are installed on the same physical hardware server.
Server Instance means a single physical or virtual computer with no more than eight (8) logical central processing unit cores and running no more than one unique copy of an operating system.

  • meter installation means the meter and, if so equipped, the instrument transformers, wiring, test links, fuses, lamps, loss of potential alarms, meters, data recorders, telecommunication equipment and spin-off data facilities installed to measure power past a meter point, provide remote access to the metered data and monitor the condition of the installed equipment;

  • water installation means the pipes and water fittings which are situated on any premises and ownership thereof vests in the owner thereof and used or intended to be used in connection with the use of water on such premises, and includes a pipe and water fitting situated outside the boundary of the premises, which either connects to the connection pipe relating to such premises or is otherwise laid with the permission of the municipality;

  • Standard Installation means the installation of drop cable to a customer’s premise where the distance from the point of entry into the building being served is less than 150 feet from the active cable television system plant.

  • Permanent radiographic installation means an enclosed shielded room, cell, or vault, not located at a temporary jobsite, in which radiography is performed.

  • Existing installation means an installation, construction of which began prior to the effective date of any regulation having application to it.
