Shift Differentials definition

Shift Differentials means extra pay allowances made to employees who work nonstandard hours.
Shift Differentials. A shift differential premium will be paid to qualifying employees as outlined below. Employees who qualify for these shift differentials will be paid at the established additional hourly rate for the entire shift.
Shift Differentials. A night shift differential of $0.50 per hour will be paid for a shift if the custodian works the majority of his or her hours after 3 pm on that day. Custodians who work a night shift, beginning at 3:00 p.m. or later, shall be allowed thirty (30) minutes, paid time, for lunch or supper during the eight (8) hour work period. Senior qualified custodians shall have the choice of the best shift hours in their building.

Shift Differentials. No shift differential or other premium pay is included in the payment of Shared CTO. These differentials are NOT included in the conversion of donated time. Terminations: An employee who voluntarily terminates employment from SPHS is NOT eligible to be paid for any remaining balance of Shared CTO. All Shared CTO not used within six months of donation will be converted to a dollar amount and donated to the SPHS Spirit Committee or comparable facility committee.
Shift Differentials. SANE nurses will be paid shift differentials according to Appendix A, Section F. Majority of hours worked between 3 pm and 11 pm- $2.50 per hour. Majority of hours worked between 11 pm and 7 am- $5.75 per hour, or as later defined by the ONA/ PNMC contract.
Shift Differentials. For departments that regularly schedule back-to-back shifts over two or more shifts, evening shift differential will be paid on hours worked from 1500 (3:00 p.m.) to 2300 (11:00 p.m.) and night shift differential will be paid on hours worked from 2300 (11:00 p.m.) to 0700 (7:00 a.m.). Hours worked from 0700 (7:00 a.m.) to 1500 (3:00 p.m.) are considered day shift and not subject to any shift differential. For departments that do not schedule back-to-back shifts, any hours worked beyond 1500 (3:00 p.m.) will continue to be considered day shift hours and not subject to any shift differential. Evening shift differential: $1.35 per hour (for Service Unit only). Night shift differential: $2.05 per hour (for Service Unit only).
