Software Derivatives definition

Software Derivatives means a revision, reparation, adaptation, enhancement, modification, translation, localization, abridgment, condensation, expansion and any other form into which software may be transformed or ported.

  • Except as expressly permitted under this Agreement (including in connection with the license, sublicense, assignment, maintenance and support of the Software, Derivatives and Private Label Products permitted hereunder), the Recipient may not use or reproduce the Discloser’s Confidential Information for any purpose.

  • Custom Software means Software identified as such in Appendix 4 of the Contract Agreement and such other Software as the parties may agree in writing to be Custom Software.

  • Embedded Software means one or more software applications which permanently reside on a computing device.

  • Embedded means the placement of transmission or distribution lines, pipes or cables into the bottom of surface waters by minimal displacement of bottom material and without the creation of a trench, or trough, through the use of techniques such as plowing-in, weighing-in, or non-trenching jets.

  • Software means computer programs, whether in source code or object code form (including any and all software implementation of algorithms, models and methodologies), databases and compilations (including any and all data and collections of data), and all documentation (including user manuals and training materials) related to the foregoing.

  • Hosted Software means: (a) Hosted NCR Voyix Software; and (b) Non-NCR Voyix Software provided by a third party as a hosted software application or cloud service and for which Customer purchases a subscription through NCR Voyix pursuant to an Order (“Non-NCR Voyix Hosted Software”).
