Source Device definition

Source Device means a Licensed Product that has a Source Function (as “Source Function” is defined in the Compliance Rules to the Form Adopter Agreement).
Source Device shall have the meaning given in the Compliance Rules.
Source Device means a Licensed Product that has a “Source Function,” which is the capability to encrypt and transmit HDCP Content in accordance with the HDCP Specification.

Examples of Source Device in a sentence

  • In the case of Prerecorded Media, or if the Commercial Audiovisual Content has previously been retained, the Source Device shall encode the Commercial Audiovisual Content such that no further retention shall be permitted.

  • Source Device may treat the L2-Only Token as set to 0 (not asserted) where usage rules associated with an Enhanced Image as received by the Source Function permit the content to be passed, after downconversion to Non-Enhanced Image, to an output or recording protection technology whose robustness requirements are no more stringent than for L1 protection.
