Standard evaluation definition

Standard evaluation means Formal Observation.
Standard evaluation is an evaluation that reviews a tenured faculty member’s performance based on a portfolio, data from structured data gathering, and observations by the Faculty Evaluation Team.

Examples of Standard evaluation in a sentence

  • In cases of “needs to improve” or “unsatisfactory”, the faculty member will have a Standard evaluation in the following semester, if still employed as a faculty member.

  • They shall occur at intervals that are at least as frequent as those prescribed in Sections 10.2.a, 10.4.a, and 10.5.a and can take the form of a Standard evaluation or a specialized evaluation (for example, a Special Evaluation or a Division Chair evaluation).

  • Permanent teachers who receive a Does Not Meet Standard evaluation, as per AB1x, in the areas of “teaching strategies and subject matter knowledge” will be required to participate in the Program no later than the beginning of the next school year.

  • Standard evaluation forms (Appendix D) shall be used by the administration for evaluating an employee.

  • An At Standard evaluation rating is defined as the level of practice for one or more elements evaluated at Applying and none are below Applying.

  • A Below Standard evaluation rating is defined as the level of practice for one or more elements evaluated at Exploring and none are below Exploring.

  • Standard evaluation (long form) procedures must be followed at least once every three (3) years thereafter.

  • They shall occur at intervals that are at least as frequent as those prescribed in Sections 9.2.a, 9.4.a, and 9.5.a and can take the form of a Standard evaluation or a specialized evaluation (for example, a Special Evaluation or a Division Chair evaluation).

  • A certificated support employee and evaluator may utilize a Professional Growth Option as an alternative to the Standard evaluation process.

  • Teachers with Provisional, University Intern status, Notice of Unsatisfactory Service or Below Standard evaluation are not eligible to apply.

Related to Standard evaluation

  • Site evaluation means a comprehensive analysis of soil and site conditions for an OWTS.
