Temporary Duty Assignment definition

Temporary Duty Assignment or “TDY” will herein mean a voluntary assignment to a station or location other than the station in which the employee is normally assigned in order to support operations for a known period of time.
Temporary Duty Assignment. (TDY) means assigning a Flight Attendant to another base for a full month's temporary duty. The temporary duty line may be a regular line, reserve line or relief line. as referenced in Section 8.P of this Agreement.
Temporary Duty Assignment is an assignment lasting for less than thirty (30) school days such as swim shuttles, restaurant and hospitality, and health occupation runs (excluding Harborview runs). Temporary duty assignments shall be offered to eligible employees on the basis of seniority.

Examples of Temporary Duty Assignment in a sentence

  • Unless notified of an assignment for the current reserve duty day in accordance with Paragraph M upon check-out from a Reserve’s sequence, or upon completion of a Standby assignment at her/his home or Temporary Duty Assignment (TDY) crew base, she/he shall be considered released from Reserve duty to begin her/his legal crew base rest period.

  • Members on a converted 40-hour Temporary Duty Assignment are eligible for callback overtime.

  • Employees assigned as a Temporary Duty Assignment as a member of the Fire Prevention Bureau shall receive a pay differential above the employee’s regular pay grade of $3,600 per year.

  • The Company may designate a Temporary Duty Assignment ("TDY") and fill Vacancies pursuant to this subsection.

  • If the home school Principal has approved the coaching position, Temporary Duty Assignment leave will be granted for all early releases.

  • An employee placed on Temporary Duty Assignment who is converted to a 40hour schedule shall be paid at the employee’s 56 hour factored rate when working overtime related to the 56-hour schedule.

Related to Temporary Duty Assignment

  • Temporary Assignment means the explicit assignment of an employee by the Employer to fill a position temporarily.

  • Assignment / job means the work to be performed by the Consultant pursuant to the Contract.

  • Temporary job site means a location where any of the following occur:

  • Temporary license means a license issued on a short-term basis for a specified time pursuant to subrule 3.5(4).

  • temporary licence means a Licence granted under the Act valid for a single day or for such period as may be specified in the Licence not exceeding six months.
