Training Position definition

Training Position is a position where the minimum requirements of a regular position are waived or reduced by the Borough to allow for internal promotion and training into a regular position.
Training Position is posted, similar to a job posting. The selection is made using the same criteria as is used for job postings.
Training Position means an approved Training Position at a Training Post. Each Training Position shall be preferable to specific year or years within the VTP e.g. A Training Position may be expressed as a 1st year Training Position.

  • The senior employee who possesses slightly less than the minimum qualifications of a Cross Trained position will be awarded the Cross Training Position.

  • For the Public Works Equipment Operator Training Position, the time period to meet the minimum requirements and satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the position is forty-eight (48) months.

  • When the voluntary transfer request is for a position designated by the department to be a Training Position.

Training Position means an approved training position at a Training Post. Each Training Position is identified by reference to a specific year or years within the VTP e.g. “1st year Training Position”.

Related to Training Position

  • Queue Position means the priority assigned to an Interconnection Request, a Completed Application, or an Upgrade Request pursuant to applicable provisions of Tariff, Part VI.

  • Safety-sensitive position means a job, including any supervisory or management position, in which an impairment caused by drug or alcohol usage would threaten the health or safety of any person.

  • Training Package means a set of qualifications and units of competency developed to meet the training needs of an industry, or a group of industries, and endorsed at the national level. Training Plan means the plan for the training and assessment to be delivered to an individual created by the Training Provider pursuant to Clause 7 of Schedule 1. Training Provider Group means the Training Provider and any other registered training organisation that is a Related Training Provider, other than by reason of paragraph (b) of that term.

  • Shielded position means the location within the radiographic exposure device or storage container which, by manufacturer's design, is the proper location for storage of the sealed source.
