Transaction Identifier definition

Transaction Identifier means a reference number identifying a Message Transmitted through CHESS.
Transaction Identifier m eans a unique value that the Card Organisation assigns to each Electronic Commerce Transaction and returns to the Bank as part of the response to the request for Authorisation. The Card Organisation uses this value to maintain an audit trail throughout the life cycle of the Electronic Commerce Transaction and all related transactions such as charge- backs. These codes also iden tify the security conditions under which the transaction occurred, e.g., SSL –Secure Socket Layer, SET – Secure Electronic Transaction, etc.
Transaction Identifier means a reference number identifying a Transfer or Conversion that is generated by a Facility User on Transmitting a Message to ASTC.
