Transfer and Reassignment definition

Transfer and Reassignment. Seniority numbers where applicable for the purpose of transfer and reassignment in Article 13 shall be, determined by applying the rules in this Article.
Transfer and Reassignment. The Parties recognize the need for accommodations of teaching assignments during this unprecedented time given individual circumstances. To support this, an involuntary transfer/reassignment may be initiated by the District to accommodate staffing needs during this MOU, and will last no longer than the MOU's duration. Any involuntary transfer/reassignment will not be made in an arbitrary or capricious manner.

Examples of Transfer and Reassignment in a sentence

  • If there is a staff reduction the canvassing process that includes the teacher on leave will be followed pursuant to the Transfer and Reassignment Process.

  • If there is a staff reduction, the canvassing process that includes the teacher on leave will be followed pursuant to the Transfer and Reassignment Process (see 13.7).

  • The teacher shall return to the same site, unless the teacher is the least senior in their licensure area/department, or chooses excess status through the canvassing process pursuant to the Transfer and Reassignment Article, Staff Reduction (see 13.7).

  • If no volunteers for transfer or reassignment exist, the District, after consultation with the AFT, may publish a "Transfer and Reassignment Bulletin" to solicit volunteers.

  • The above listed positions shall be posted by May 15th and filled as determined by each school site on an annual basis in accordance with Article 20 - Transfer and Reassignment of this Agreement.

  • Unless otherwise provided in this Article, a unit member on a paid or unpaid leave of absence for a year or less shall be entitled to return to the same position which he held immediately before commencement of the leave whenever possible; however, placement in another school and/or position shall be governed by the Transfer and Reassignment Policy.

  • Bargaining unit employees who file a Voluntary Transfer and Reassignment Form (Appendix G-1) will be considered according to the factors set forth in paragraph A.5 of this Article.

  • Prior to being laid off, AASD unit members will be entitled to rights granted under Article 7 - Appointment Transfer and Reassignment.

Related to Transfer and Reassignment

  • Reassignment shall have the meaning specified in Section 2.10.

  • Transfer and Servicing Agreement means the Transfer and Servicing Agreement, dated as of the Closing Date, among the Issuer, the Depositor and Cellco as Servicer, Marketing Agent and Custodian, as amended, restated, supplemented or modified from time to time.
