TYPES OF COLLATERAL classification of the collateral is important because many provisions of Article 9 (particularly those dealing with perfection and priorities) make legal distinctions based on the type of collateral. In classifying the collateral, look to see how the Debtor is using the collateral. Goods (4 types): all things which are movable at the time the security interest attaches, and include the unborn young of animals and growing crops. Goods also include fixtures (which we will discuss later). Consumer goods: Used or bought for use primarily for personal, family, or household purposes Equipment: Used or bought for use primarily in business. Farm products: Crops or livestock or supplies used or produced in farming operations or products of crops or livestock in their unmanufactured states (such as ginned cotton, wool-clip, maple syrup, milk and eggs) if they are in the possession of a Debtor engaged in farming operations.

Each such schedule shall identify the assets that will become Collateral Obligations, shall set forth such information with respect to each such Collateral Obligation as the Borrower or the Facility Agent may reasonably require and shall supplement any such schedules attached to previously-delivered Asset Approval Requests and Reinvestment Requests.
