Union Negotiating Committee definition

Union Negotiating Committee means two (2) employees elected by the Union whose duties are to negotiate, with a Staff Representative of the Union and any other Union personnel, a revision and renewal of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Union Negotiating Committee. All employees shall continue to accrue benefits while serving as a member of the Union negotiating committee, including PTO time, insurance benefits, seniority, pension credits, etc.

  • If the parties are unable to arrive at a negotiated collective agreement through either direct negotiations or conciliation, the Hospital agrees that members of the Union Negotiating Committee shall receive unpaid leave for purpose of attending arbitration hearings.

  • Union Negotiating Committee members up to a maximum of seven (7) shall be paid for time lost from their normal straight time working hours at their regular rate of pay and without loss of leave credits for attending central negotiating meetings with the Hospital Central Negotiating Committee in direct negotiations up to and including conciliation.

  • Upon determination of each Quarterly Profit calculation, such calculation shall be forwarded to the Chair of the Union Negotiating Committee accompanied by a Certificate of Officer signed by the Chief Financial Officer of the Company, providing a detailed description of any adjustments made to Earnings Before Income and Taxes and stating that Profit was determined in accordance with GAAP and that Quarterly Profit was calculated in accordance with this Section.

  • If after ninety (90) days following recognition the parties are unable to reach agreement for such a collective bargaining agreement, they shall submit those matters that remain in dispute to the Chair of the Union Negotiating Committee and the Chair of the Company Negotiating Committee, who shall use their best efforts to assist the parties in reaching a collective bargaining agreement.

  • The Employer shall, for direct collective bargaining prior to Conciliation, pay the normal wages and benefits for maximum of three (3) employees who are members of the Union Negotiating Committee for a total of one hundred and twenty (120) hours and thereafter pay fifty percent (50%) of normal wages and full benefits.

  • In the period of six (6) months prior to the termination of this Collective Agreement, each member of the Union Negotiating Committee shall be entitled to two (2) full days with pay to prepare and finalize bargaining proposals.

  • The Union shall reimburse the College for all pay during such leave except for the days scheduled by the parties for direct negotiations and up to a maximum of ten (10) days if required, for meetings of the Union Negotiating Committee to prepare for and to complete bargaining.

  • All Union participants involved in any and all joint activities under this Section or in any other joint committee involving members of a Union bargaining unit, shall be chosen and removed from the process exclusively by the relevant Local Union President/Unit Chair and the Chair of the Union Negotiating Committee.

Related to Union Negotiating Committee

  • Coordinating Committee means the committee designated and elected as provided in section 16d in connection with a township consolidation.

  • Nominating Committee means the nominating committee of the board of directors of the Company established pursuant to the Articles, or any successor committee.

  • Operating Committee means the Operating Committee of Epoch which meets frequently and is responsible for implementing the Company’s strategy, making operational decisions and overseeing the day-to-day running of the Company.

  • Banning Committee means a Committee constituted for the purpose of these guidelines by the competent authority. The members of this Committee shall not, at any stage, be connected with the tendering process under reference.

  • Standing Committee means a permanent committee with a regular meeting schedule and designated subject matter jurisdiction that is authorized by the Rules of the Senate or the Rules of the House of Representatives.
