Unit Train definition

Unit Train means a train with at least 100 Rail Tank Cars.
Unit Train means a train which is delivered in interchange to NOPB with its own motive power dedicated to the transportation, is delivered to industry (or to another connecting carrier if handled by NOPB in Intermediate Switching) in one piece, pulled from industry in one piece (in the case of Reciprocal Switching), and departs NOPB with the same freight car and motive power consist with which it was delivered to NOPB (with exception of Bad Ordered cars).
Unit Train means a train with capacity sufficient to hold the number of Tons of Coal for delivery from the Source(s) as specified in the relevant Confirmation.

Examples of Unit Train in a sentence

  • For rail deliveries of coal, Seller shall deliver the coal to Buyer F.O.B. railcar at the rail loading facility at Midway Unit Train Facility rail loadout the (“Rail Delivery Point”), near McHenry, Kentucky on the Paducah and Louisville Railroad.

  • RPMG shall be responsible for and shall bear the risk of loss of (subject to the terms of this Agreement) the Ethanol marketed for Member by RPMG from the time the product crosses the loading flange at the Facility in either a railcar or tank truck, provided that for Large Facility Unit Trains RPMG shall be responsible for and shall bear the risk of loss for Ethanol shipped by Large Facility Unit Train from the time that RPMG receives the shipping documentation for the Large Facility Unit Train.

  • Delivery by Member to RPMG of all such Ethanol shall be made at the time the Ethanol crosses the loading flange at the Facility to either a railcar and/or tank truck; provided, however, if the annual production capacity at the Facility is in excess of 80 million gallons then delivery by Member to RPMG for Ethanol shipped by unit train ("Large Facility Unit Train") shall be made when RPMG receives the shipping documentation for the Large Facility Unit Train.

  • The Construction Manager shall cooperate with the Owner in causing the transfer and assignment of all Applicable Permits required for operation of the Century Plant Project to the Owner contemporaneous with Substantial Completion of the applicable Unit, Train, Pipeline or Shared Equipment.


More Definitions of Unit Train

Unit Train means a train consisting of 100 or more Product-carrying railcars (not including any buffers cars or locomotives) that can be delivered and removed as a single train movement to or from the Facility without breaking the train except as may be necessary to place the railcars involved on the receipt receiving or departing tracks of the Facility.
Unit Train means approximately one hundred (100) railcars loaded together as an intact train in accordance with applicable Transportation Specifications or empty and being transported for delivery to the Source(s) as specified in the relevant Confirmation.
Unit Train or “Unit Trains” means unit trains under power from dedicated locomotives conforming to the requirements set out in the Terminal Services Agreement and these Rules and Regulations.
