urban areas definition

urban areas means areas situated within the urban edge (as defined or adopted by the competent authority), or in instances where no urban edge or boundary has been defined or adopted, it refers to areas situated within the edge of built-up areas;

urban areas means all areas other than rural areas;

urban areas means the areas located within the urban area boundaries contained in the January 1, 1989, document pre- pared by the department in cooperation with the federal highway administration and entitled “Urban Federal Aid Systems”.

urban areas means the areas of Delhi which are not rural areas;

urban areas means the areas which are declared as the larger urban areas, the smaller urban areas or the transitional urban areas under the Act concerning the municipalities, but excluding remote areas, and includes areas falling under the Cantonment Authorities;
