UST system component definition
UST system component means a component of an UST system, including any underground storage tanks, connected underground piping, underground ancillary equipment, and containment systems.
UST system component means any of the following items associated with the use of an UST: an underground storage tank, connected piping, dispensers, spill buckets, containment sumps or release detection or release prevention equipment. As used in the UST regulations, the term “UST system component” does not include piping that does not routinely contain regulated substances or items associated with routine maintenance such as filters or o-rings;
