A Validation Mechanism clause establishes the process by which the parties confirm that certain requirements, deliverables, or conditions have been met under the agreement. Typically, this clause outlines the steps for review, testing, or inspection, and may specify who is responsible for conducting the validation and what evidence or documentation is required. Its core practical function is to ensure that both parties have a clear, agreed-upon method for verifying compliance or completion, thereby reducing disputes and ensuring accountability.
Validation Mechanism. The validation mechanism for awarding college credit is based on the following student assessments that are identified for each articulated program: (portfolio review, special projects, performance-based, industry certifications/licensure, written assessments skills inventory assessments or a combination). To receive college credit for the articulated programs completed at Orange Technical College, transferring students must meet the following requirements:
Validation Mechanism. To be eligible for articulation, the student must show evidence of their CompTIA A+ certification and it must have been issued within three (3) years prior to their enrollment in the program.
Validation Mechanism. To be eligible for articulation, the student must show evidence of their current Autodesk Certified User - AutoCAD certification and it must have been issued within three (3) years prior to their enrollment in the program. The Autodesk Certified User - AutoCAD certification represents industry acknowledgement of technical skill attainment of competencies in the Architectural Design and Construction Technology program.
Validation Mechanism. To be eligible for articulation, the student must show evidence of their current Certified Internet Web (CIW) Web Design Specialist certification and it must have been issued within three (3) years prior to their enrollment in the program.

Validation Mechanism. To be awarded the college credit guaranteed by this agreement, the student must present an original career certificate of completion or an official transcript that delineates program completion. Students entering the AS/AAS degree program in _B_uilding C_o_nstruction T_e_chno_lo_gy must meet the admissions requirements of the college and the program to which they are applying, as well as the common placement testing requirements outlined in section 1008.30, Florida Statutes (F.S.), and Rule 6A- 10.0315(2), Florida Administrative Code (F.A.C).
