Variable Component. Defined as the component of the Metric Benefit for the Preterm Birth, Healthy Birth Intervals, and Child Injury PFS Metrics that is not contingent upon the achievement of a minimum threshold as defined in Article V.B in this Contract. The dollar amount of the Variable Component of each Metric Benefit shall be determined by the PFS Impact Estimate and the number of Project Participants. The Metric Benefit for each of the PFS Outcome Metrics shall be calculated as follows: 1. Preterm Birth Metric Benefit = Fixed Component + Variable Component 2. Variable Component means that component of consideration allocable to each Eligible Policy as provided in Section 7.1(b)(ii). Such Variable Component shall be equal to the sum of (i) the Basic Variable Component and (ii) the Additional Variable Component, if any.

Examples of Variable Component in a sentence

  • If the actual cost of any aspect of the Work is greater or less than that set forth in the Provisioning Schedule, such fact shall not cause any change in the Initial Contract Price, except for the Variable Component.

  • The Parties will execute a Contract Variation to confirm the actual amount of the Variable Component, after final adjustment, if any, pursuant to Sub-Article 4(A)(1) hereof.
