Variable Rate Plan definition

Variable Rate Plan. A plan where your rate may vary according to market conditions.
Variable Rate Plan. If your Contract Summary indicates that you have chosen a Variable Rate electric product, the rate for the electricity supplied pursuant to this Agreement may change monthly at IDT Energy’s discretion. When setting rates, IDT Energy will consider numerous factors including, but not limited to, current conditions on the PJM wholesale electricity market, the cost of obtaining electricity from all sources, capacity costs, settlement costs, costs of ancillary services, hedging costs, balancing costs, line loss costs, costs to comply with any applicable Renewable Portfolio Standards, IDT Energy’s expenses and margins, and all applicable taxes, fees, or assessments. The Variable Rate may be higher or lower than the Local Utility’s rate in any particular month or over the duration of this Agreement, and IDT Energy cannot guarantee savings as compared to the Local Utility’s rates. There is no limit on how much the IDT Energy Variable Rate may change from one billing cycle to the next.
Variable Rate Plan. We may offer you an Introductory APR for Purchases and/or Cash Advances for an “Introductory Period”. The APR(s) and the corresponding Daily Periodic Rate(s) during the Introductory Period will be identified in the Insert. On the expiration of the Introductory Period, if any, each Daily Periodic Rate used to compute Finance Charges will be determined in accordance with a variable rate plan.The APR applied to Purchases and Cash Advances may vary from month to month and will be calculated by adding the applicable Margin to the applicable Index. The initial Margin(s) for Purchases and Cash Advances are set forth in the Insert. The Insert also shows the Daily Periodic Rate(s) and APR(s) (using the Index and Margin(s)) that would have applied in the absence of the Introductory Rate. An increase in the Daily Periodic Rate (and the corresponding APR) may occur if the Index increases or the Margin increases, but the combined Index and Margin will not exceed the maximum allowable by Applicable State Law. If the Index or Margin changes, the new Daily Periodic Rate(s) (and corresponding APR(s)) will apply to all amounts subject to Finance Charges as of the first day of the billing cycle shown on your next monthly statement.The Daily Periodic Rate(s) for Purchases and Cash Advances in effect for each billing cycle will be disclosed on your monthly statement for that billing cycle.We may change any Margin applicable to your Account from time to time.We will notify you of any new Margin prior to the effective date of any Margin change.

  • You may terminate a Variable Rate Plan at any time and no termination Fee will apply unless otherwise detailed in your Enrollment Documentation.

  • If you are enrolled in a Variable Rate Plan, after the introductory period, the price may change each month and will be set in Direct Energy's discretion based on the factors stated in Renewal (Section 7).You understand that as part of Direct Energy’s process of qualifying you for this Agreement, Direct Energy may investigate your credit history and choose to obtain a consumer credit report on you from a consumer- reporting agency.

  • Variable Rate Plan: A month-to-month plan where your rate may vary according to market conditions.

  • Customers under the Variable Rate Plan may terminate this Agreement at any time without penalty.

  • For purposes of this Agreement, Month-to-Month Plan is the same as a Variable Rate Plan.

  • If you are enrolled in a Variable Rate Plan, after the introductory period, the price may change each month and will be set in Eastern PNG's discretion based on the factors stated above.
