Verification of Coverage. Each bidder shall furnish the BOCC with certification of insurance (▇▇▇▇▇ form or equivalent approved by the BOCC as required by this paragraph). The certificates for each insurance policy are to be signed by a person authorized by that insurer to bind coverage on its behalf. All certificates and endorsements are to be received and approved by the BOCC before work commences. Each insurance policy required by this paragraph must be in effect at or prior to the commencement of work under any awarded purchase order or contract and remain in effect for the duration of that purchase order or contract and for two (2) years after the completion date of that purchase order or contract, or any extension or renewal thereof. Failure to maintain the insurance policies as required by this paragraph, or to provide evidence of renewal, is a material breach of this paragraph. Verification of Coverage. Consultant shall furnish AHA with original certificates and amendatory endorsements or copies of the applicable policy language effecting coverage required by this clause, and a copy of the Declarations and Endorsement page of the CGL policy listing all policy endorsements before work begins. However, failure to obtain the required documents prior to the work beginning shall not waive the Consultant’s obligation to provide them.
