Verification with Call Interruption definition

Verification with Call Interruption or “VCI” means a service that may be requested and provided when Line Status Verification has determined that a line is busy due to an ongoing call. VCI is an operator interruption of that ongoing call to inform the called party that a calling party is seeking to complete his or her call to the called party.
