Witness Testing definition

Witness Testing means all live testing of the Facility while operating in parallel with the electric system.
Witness Testing means the witnessing – and overseeing if so desired – by the Distributor of Works having being undertaken and completed satisfactorily.
Witness Testing means all required testing of the Facility in accordance with the Georgia Power Distribution Test Policy.

  • If the Interconnection Customer conducts interim testing and such testing is observed by the Public Utility and the results of such interim testing are deemed acceptable by the Public Utility (hereinafter a “Public Utility-approved interim test”), then the Interconnection Customer may request that such Public Utility- approved interim test be deleted from the final Witness Testing.

  • If the Interconnection Customer conducts interim testing and such testing is observed by the Public Utility and the results of such interim testing are deemed acceptable by the Public Utility (hereinafter a “Public Utility-approved interim test”), then the Interconnection Customer may request that such Public Utility-approved interim test be deleted from the final Witness Testing.

  • Following successful Witness Testing and completion of each Upgrade Project, and upon compliance with all material QFIA and PPA terms and conditions and consent by the DCC or its designee, GPC will provide notice allowing the Facility to begin Commercial Operation.

  • In that event, GPC reserves the right to determine when to reconnect the Facility and re-energize the Interconnection Facilities in order to proceed with Witness Testing.

  • Throughout the Term, GPC reserves the right to periodically assess the Facility or conduct Witness Testing of the Facility for compliance with this QFIA.

  • Plant Inspections ‐ See Section 6 of License Application and Agreement daily fee for Inspection/ Witness Testing at Participant’s Plant.

  • For reasons of safety, if the period of Initial Synch and trial operation prior to Witness Testing exceeds seven Calendar Days, GPC reserves the right to temporarily disconnect the Facility and de-energize GPC’s Interconnection Facilities.

  • Generator must cooperate with GPC in the scheduling and performance of Witness Testing or of any periodic or other assessment according to the Test Policy.

  • GPC has no obligation to expedite its activity under either the Initial Synchronization clause or this Witness Testing clause and may schedule activity in the order of requests received, according to resource availability, and as it deems practicable; GPC will not schedule an initial Witness Test in the month of December.

  • Witness test means the Company’s right to witness the commissioning testing and/or Company-required Interconnecting Customer-owned communication system. Commissioning testing is defined in IEEE Standard 1547-2003.

(IEEE) Standard 1547 Section 5.4 "Commissioning tests".
