5. 입찰보증금

2. Qualifications

a. Businesses that registered for the Korean Cultural Center’s open bid following the procedures set out below and meet the 「Enforcement Decree of the Act on Contracts to Which the state is a Party 12」

b. Businesses not related to any legal disputes regarding the 「Act on Contracts to Which the state is a Party 27」 and the 「Enforcement Decree of the Act on Contracts to Which the state is a Party 76」

c. Businesses holding an official and valid license in New YorK and/or New Jersey.

5. Bidding Deposit

a. Businesses should pay a bidding deposit, 5% of the total amount by checK, for authenticity affirmation. The Korean Cultural Center retains the entire deposit if the bid winner doesn’t elect to sign a contract.

b. The Korean Cultural Center returns the bidding deposit after the announcement of the winning bid.

6. Process

a. The Korean Cultural Center selects the winner of the Businesses that not only earned over 85 points following, the criteria below (7) but that also submitted a bidding price, over 87.995% of the expected price.

b. Result : 2021.12, to be individually contacted via email or phone.

c. Contract Signing : Within 7 days of the result announcement

d. The Korean Cultural Center selects a second winner if the first winner doesn’t elect to sign a contract.

8. Contract Process

a. Contractor should pay a contract deposit, 10% in checK of the total amount for contract affirmation or sign the ‘Memorandum of Contract Deposit Payment’. The Korean Cultural Center retains the entire deposit if Contractor initiates cancellation the contract.

b. Contractor should sign the Standard Contract of the Korean Cultural Center, Pledge to Implement Integrity Pact, and the Confidentiality Agreement.

9. Others

a. The Korean Cultural Center promotes transparency and fairness in all contracts.

b. Any difference of interpretation would follow the interpretation of the Korean Cultural Center.
