Access to Sites - Union Representatives Sample Clauses

Access to Sites - Union Representatives. Access to the worksite by accredited union officials will be authorised for the purposes of consulting with union shop stewards, investigating grievances or complaints, observing working conditions, posting bulletins, developing skills and flexibility programmes and implementation of agreed structures. Union officials will receive access authorisation from the designated management representative at the location involved. If working conditions make it impractical to permit access the designated management representative will inform the union representative when access will be authorised. It is not the intention of this clause to deny the Union access to their members. An understanding needs to be maintained that this access will not cause a loss of productivity or income earned to the company.
