The Account Inactivity clause defines the rules and consequences that apply when a user's account remains unused for a specified period. Typically, this clause outlines what constitutes inactivity—such as not logging in or making transactions for a set number of months—and describes actions the service provider may take, like suspending, deactivating, or deleting the account, or even charging maintenance fees. Its core function is to manage dormant accounts efficiently, reduce security risks, and ensure resources are allocated to active users.
Account Inactivity. A Business Savings Account with a zero balance or no customer-initiated activity for nine (9) continuous months is considered inactive and is subject to closure. Customer initiated activity includes any deposits to or one-time transfers (“Online Transfers”) you make from the Business Savings Account. The Customer has the right, unless otherwise agreed in the Customized Quotation, to pause its use of the Verifai Products and Services at any time by informing Verifai in writing or by no longer performing Checks with the Verifai Products and Services.
