Accumulated Sick Days Clause Samples

The Accumulated Sick Days clause defines how employees can carry over unused sick leave from one period, typically a year, to the next. It specifies the maximum number of sick days that can be accumulated, any limits on usage, and the process for tracking these days. For example, an employee may be allowed to roll over up to 10 unused sick days each year, which can then be used in future periods if needed. This clause ensures employees have access to additional paid leave in case of extended illness, while also helping employers manage leave liabilities and prevent abuse of sick leave policies.
