Sick Leave Accumulation Clause Samples
The Sick Leave Accumulation clause defines how employees can accrue unused sick leave over time. Typically, this clause specifies the rate at which sick leave is earned, any maximum limits on accumulation, and whether unused days can be carried over from year to year. For example, an employee might earn one day of sick leave per month and be allowed to carry over up to 30 days into the next year. The core function of this clause is to provide employees with a clear understanding of their entitlements and to ensure consistent management of sick leave benefits within the organization.
