Acknowledgments by the Employee. The Employee acknowledges that: (a) the services to be performed by him under this Agreement are of a special, unique, unusual, extraordinary, and intellectual character; (b) the Employer’s business is regional in scope and its products are marketed throughout the States of Louisiana, Mississippi, Texas and offshore in the Gulf of Mexico; (c) the Employer competes with other businesses that are or could be located in any part of the States of Louisiana, Mississippi, or Texas and (d) the provisions of this Section 8 are reasonable and necessary to protect the Employer’s business.
