Ada Reasonable Accommodation. ‌ 1. Purpose – The Employer and the Union agree that they have a joint obligation to comply with the American With Disabilities Act (ADA). The Employer agrees to attempt 2. Process – Upon request, an employee seeking an accommodation shall be entitled to Union representation. The Employer shall review the employee's request for reasonable accommodation which may include, but is not limited to: equipment purchase or modification, structural modifications, job restructuring, scheduling modification, or job reassignment. The Employer agrees to meet and confer with the Union when such accommodation would result in a conflict with other contract provisions for the purpose of discussing a waiver or modification of said provision. Any waiver of labor agreement provisions must be agreed to by both the Employer and the Union.
