Common use of Addition of Members Clause in Contracts

Addition of Members. Entities authorized by law to participate in a JPA may subsequently become Members upon the unanimous vote of all Members and the new Member’s execution of this Agreement, as it may be amended. An entity requesting to become a Member must provide certification of compliance with the membership requirements of this Agreement and the Bylaws. The entity requesting to become a Member may represent a group of other entities. Terms and conditions for a new Member’s participation in the Authority, if any, will be set forth in an amendment to this Agreement or in the Bylaws. Such terms and conditions must be consistent with this Agreement and any contracts, resolutions, or indentures of the Authority then in effect.
