Common use of Additional Fringe Benefits Clause in Contracts

Additional Fringe Benefits. 17.1 The Employer and the Union adopt the current Employer’s Personnel Policy now in force if it does not contradict the current Agreement. 17.2 In lieu of pro-rated vacation, holiday, and sick leave benefits, regular part-time employees shall receive one step increase on the wage schedule every time they complete 2080 hours of work. Any heretofore accumulated benefits under the previous pro-ration system shall continue to be available to the employee who earned the benefits, but no additional vacation, holiday, or sick leave will accrue. Once accumulated banks are used up, no additional time maybe accrued unless the part-time employee becomes a full-time employee.
