Common use of Additional Observations Clause in Contracts

Additional Observations. Additional observations may occur as determined necessary by the evaluator or at the request of the teacher. Informal observations are not required to be pre-scheduled. The evaluator shall promptly document and share a report of such observations with the teacher as required by law. If there is an area of concern based upon any such informal observation, the teacher shall be notified in writing in order for that evidence to be used in the evaluation process. Pre- and post-observation conferences for these additional observations are optional at the request of either the teacher or evaluator. Observations do not have to be in the classroom. Department or collegial meetings may be used for Informal Observations.
