Adequacy of Coverage Clause Samples

The Adequacy of Coverage clause requires that a party maintain sufficient insurance or financial protection to cover potential liabilities or losses arising from the agreement. In practice, this means the party must obtain and keep in force insurance policies that meet specified minimum coverage amounts and types, such as general liability or property insurance, as relevant to the contract's subject matter. This clause ensures that, in the event of a claim or loss, there are adequate resources available to address damages, thereby protecting both parties from financial risk and uncertainty.
