The "Administrative Positions" clause defines the roles and responsibilities of individuals or entities tasked with managing and overseeing the administrative aspects of an agreement or organization. Typically, this clause outlines which positions exist (such as secretary, treasurer, or manager), how these positions are filled, and the specific duties assigned to each. Administrative Positions. Opportunities for Administrative positions shall be posted 22 at least twice annually in the notice of vacancies.
Administrative Positions. In the case of a faculty member moving to an administrative position in the District, seniority shall remain at the same level as when the faculty member moved to the administrative position. If the same employee returns from administration to full-time academic assignment, seniority shall continue from the level the employee had reached when he/she moved to the administrative position.
Administrative Positions. Administrative hiring procedures are set forth in Administrative Process and are not included in this contract. The Board agrees that at least two faculty members shall be appointed by the Faculty Association President to serve as members of any committee established to screen and recommend candidates for administrative positions. The Faculty Association President will be asked to provide representation for state funded administrative and classified management positions. The Association President may waive faculty participation in any of these searches.
Administrative Positions. Administrative vacancies (excluding the Superintendent) will be posted on bulletin boards in employee lounges in the district during the school year. Employees who are interested in being considered for the position shall submit their applications to the Superintendent within five (5) days of the posting notice. Employees who are interested in being considered for administrative vacancies that occur during the summer shall notify the Superintendent in writing of the positions desired prior to the last day of the school year.
Administrative Positions. (a) The regular hours of work for employees not working in positions described above shall be based on a forty (40) hour work week in which employees will work an eight (8) hour work day exclusive of a one-half (1/2) hour or a one (1) hour unpaid meal break and two (2) ten (10) minute rest breaks. The Supervisor will designate the time of meal and rest breaks for staff members.
(b) The regular work week shall be any five (5) consecutive days, Monday through Sunday, between the hours of 12:01 a.m. and 12 midnight.
(c) For the purpose of Clauses 8.1, 8.2 and 8.3, overtime provisions shall be applied for hours worked in excess of eight (8) or on the first or second day of rest.
Administrative Positions. Administrative Positions shall initially be made available for transfer pursuant to Section 28:04 or 28:05. Positions posted for open prior to June 15th will be posted both publicly and within the Employer’s schools. The posting shall be carried out at least one (1) week prior to the closing date for application and shall contain a concise description of the position and a listing of the criteria of eligibility and the requirements of the position.
Administrative Positions. (a) Administrative positions shall initially be made available for transfer opportunity amongst existing administrators pursuant to Section 28:04. This process shall continue until June 30th. Positions posted for open prior to June 30th will be posted both publicly and within the Employer’s schools. The posting shall be carried out at least one (1) week prior to the closing date for application and shall contain a concise description of the position and a listing of the criteria of eligibility and the requirements of the position.
(b) After June 30th, all openings for administrative positions with an Employer shall be publicly advertised. Notices regarding such openings shall be posted on the Employer’s website.
(c) In the event that a vacancy occurs in a school after the first school day in the school year, an acting administrator shall be appointed pursuant to Section 9.
Administrative Positions. 28.01 In filling an administrative position the candidates shall compete on the following criteria: qualifications, abilities and experience, and the Board shall determine the weight to be given to each of the criteria.
28.02 An administrative position shall be defined as an appointment that would result in the teacher receiving an administrative allowance.
28.03 The parties agree that neither this Article 28 nor other provisions of this Agreement apply to the selection process for the position of Superintendent of Schools or Directors.
