Administrative Time Clause Samples

The "Administrative Time" clause defines the allocation of specific periods during which employees or contractors are permitted to perform non-billable, work-related administrative tasks. This may include activities such as attending internal meetings, completing required paperwork, or participating in training sessions that are necessary for the smooth operation of the organization but are not directly tied to client projects or revenue-generating work. By clearly delineating administrative time, the clause ensures that both parties understand which hours are not billable and helps prevent disputes over compensation or workload expectations.
Administrative Time. ‌ Individual providers shall be compensated an additional fifteen (15) minutes per pay period for the purposes of recording and submitting timesheets.

Examples of activities which an administrator may choose to plan on these days include, but are not limited to, staff development, instruction and curriculum planning, student assessment, department, grade level and collegial planning, communication and planning of District procedures, changes and goals, and parent and student communication.
