Advanced Certificate. Within thirty (30) working days of approval from the Berkeley Police Department Professional Standards Division of an Officers’ eligibility for a Peace Officers Standards and Training Advanced Certificate, the employee shall receive a two percent (2%) differential to base salary and such payment shall be reported to CalPERS as Peace Officers Standards and Training Certificate Pay as a form of Educational Pay.
