Exclusions Sample Clauses

The Exclusions clause defines specific situations, items, or liabilities that are not covered under the terms of an agreement or policy. In practice, this clause lists particular risks, events, or types of damages that the parties agree will not be subject to the contract’s protections or obligations—for example, excluding coverage for losses caused by natural disasters or intentional misconduct. Its core function is to clearly delineate the boundaries of responsibility, thereby preventing misunderstandings and limiting the scope of liability for the parties involved.
