Alcohol or Controlled Substance Use or Possession. No ▇▇▇▇ Public Schools employee who is required to obtain a CDL shall report for duty or remain on duty requiring the performance of a safety-sensitive function (1) while having an alcohol concentration of 0.02% or more, or (2) if the employee tests positive for a controlled substance, or (3) when the employee uses any alcohol or any controlled substance, or (4) if the employee is in possession of any alcohol or any controlled substance, except when the use or possession is pursuant to the instructions of a physician who has advised the employee that the substance does not adversely affect the driver to safely operate a vehicle. The employee shall inform the Employer of any therapeutic drug use that has been indicated to have an effect on one’s ability to operate a vehicle.
