Student with Special Needs. Bus drivers of students with special needs, who have been assigned a paraprofessional in the classroom through the IEPC process, will receive training concerning any special adjustments which should be made during transportation. A bus driver who believes the transportation situation requires additional support, should request a review by the Transportation Supervisor, who will convene a committee of the bus driver, the principal and the Special Education Director to review the request and make a determination. Letter of Agreement‌ ▇▇▇▇ Public Schools And Teamsters Local 243 ▇▇▇▇ Public Schools and Teamsters Local 243 hereby enter into this letter of understanding and agreement, with the following provisions, in accordance with Schedule C, subsection 11 of the Master Agreement between the parties. Policy A 4005 (Drug Free Work Place) of the Board of Education of the ▇▇▇▇ Public Schools, the attached Drug Free Work Place Policy Statement, the attached Drug Free Work Place Rules and Regulations, including the drug testing protocol, and the Omnibus Transportation Employee Testing Act of 1991 Rules and Regulations applicable to Employees Required to obtain CDL and Drug Testing Protocol are subject to the provisions of the Master Agreement between the parties. Employees required to undergo any examination or test pursuant to the aforementioned policy statement shall be entitled to a Union representative at the Employee’s request at any point during any examination or test. However, such representation shall not be interpreted to permit direct access by a Union representative to the production and collection of a sample by an employee. An employee or Union representative shall not lose any time or pay as a result of cooperating with and abiding by the provisions of the policy statement during the employee’s regular shift. Employees who exercise the option of having the split sample tested pursuant to the applicable drug protocol may use accrued paid leave as provided by the Master Agreement while waiting for the results from the split sample test. If the split sample testing result is negative, such paid leave shall be restored to the employee and the employee shall not be charged any overtime for equalization purposes. An employee who is required by the Substance Abuse Professional to undergo treatment that will cause the employee to be absent from work may use any or all leave credits he or she has accumulated as allowed by the Master Agreement. ▇▇▇▇ Public Sch...

  • Innovative Scheduling Schedules which are inconsistent with the Collective Agreement provisions may be developed in order to improve quality of working life, support continuity of resident care, ensure adequate staffing resources, and support cost-efficiency. The parties agree that such innovative schedules may be determined locally by the Home and the Union subject to the following principles: (a) Such schedules shall be established by mutual agreement of the Home and the Union; (b) These schedules may pertain to full-time and/or part-time employees; (c) The introduction of such schedules and trial periods, if any, shall be determined by the local parties. Such schedules may be discontinued by either party with notice as determined through local negotiations; (d) Upon written agreement of the Home and the Union, the parties may agree to amend collective agreement provisions to accommodate any innovative unit schedules; (e) It is understood and agreed that these arrangements are based on individual circumstances and each agreement is made on a without prejudice or precedent basis. (f) It is understood and agreed that these arrangements can be utilized for temporary job postings for seasonal coverage (e.g. weekend workers, etc.).

  • Continuity of Supply A Service Order will continue until terminated in accordance with this Agreement. A change to a Service Order will not initiate a new Service Order, or cause the existing Service Order to terminate, unless expressly agreed in writing. In particular, a change to a Service Order that is implemented by the LFC electronically and does not require a physical visit to a site or Interconnection Point will not cause the Service Order to terminate.

  • Agreement with Respect to Leased Data Processing Equipment (a) The Receiver hereby grants to the Assuming Bank an exclusive option for the period of ninety (90) days commencing the day after Bank Closing to accept an assignment from the Receiver of any or all Data Processing Leases to the extent that such Data Processing Leases can be assigned. (b) The Assuming Bank shall (i) give written notice to the Receiver within the option period specified in Section 4.7(a) of its intent to accept or decline an assignment or sublease of any or all Data Processing Leases and promptly accept an assignment or sublease of such Data Processing Leases, and (ii) give written notice to the appropriate lessor(s) that it has accepted an assignment or sublease of any such Data Processing Leases. (c) The Receiver agrees to facilitate the assignment or sublease of Data Processing Leases or the negotiation of new leases or license agreements by the Assuming Bank; provided, that neither the Receiver nor the Corporation shall be obligated to engage in litigation or make payments to the Assuming Bank or to any third party in connection with facilitating any such assumption, assignment, sublease or negotiation. (d) The Assuming Bank agrees, during its period of use of any property subject to a Data Processing Lease, to pay to the Receiver or to appropriate third parties at the direction of the Receiver all operating costs with respect thereto and to comply with all relevant terms of the applicable Data Processing Leases entered into by the Failed Bank, including without limitation the timely payment of all rent, taxes, fees, charges, utilities, insurance and assessments. (e) The Assuming Bank shall, not later than fifty (50) days after giving the notice provided in Section 4.7(b), (i) relinquish and release to the Receiver all property subject to the relevant Data Processing Lease, in the same condition as at Bank Closing, normal wear and tear excepted, or (ii) accept an assignment or a sublease thereof or negotiate a new lease or license agreement under this Section 4.7.

  • STUDENT SAFETY The Parties agree that when a Student attending a College facility expresses to any College employee a suicidal intention or a threat of physical harm to others, a protocol to be agreed prior to the effective date of this MOU will be executed. The protocol will prioritize ensuring that the Student does not pose a threat to self or others. The College will prioritize transitioning management of the issue to School District, the parent / guardian of the student or the most appropriate authority or entity to address the crisis at hand. Often the College Police Department will assess the situation and coordinate that transition with its School District counterpart. School District designates College as its agent under any applicable statutory authority or parent / guardian consent to treatment for the limited purpose of this crisis-response intervention. When on the College campus, Students will follow the policies and procedures of the College to ensure the safety and well-being of the fellow classmates, faculty, staff and visitors. The Colleges will develop standard protocols for various emergency situations. To ensure safety precautions, the College enrolls all students, faculty and staff, including Students in Dual Credit programs, into emergency alert messages. These messages are sent to all groups mentioned via the College email, robocalls and text messages to the telephones listed in the system of record. Alamo Colleges District is subject to legislation requiring it to allow licensees to carry concealed handguns on its campuses effective August 1, 2017, and Students will potentially encounter license holders availing themselves of this privilege. Any notice of these facts to parents of Students will be the responsibility of the School District. Students traveling for College events will be required to sign an Alamo Colleges District General Participation Release as a condition of participation as is required of all students from each of the Colleges of the Alamo Colleges District.
