Alternate Processes. A Grievance mediation officer, as appointed by the Labour Relations Board, may be accessed in any point in the process. Related costs for this service shall be borne equally by the parties. The role of the Grievance mediation officer is to attempt to achieve resolution to the grievance on a "without prejudice" basis; or An outside third party, agreeable to both the Federation and the Board, may be accessed at any point in the process.
