An appropriate. administrator/designee must authorize all overtime work. Except in emergency situations or when an administrator/designee is not available, overtime work should have prior written approval from the immediate management-level supervisor; however, all overtime work will be compensated. Repeated failure to obtain prior written approval to work overtime may be cause for disciplinary action.
