Common use of Appeal to the Grievance Procedure Clause in Contracts

Appeal to the Grievance Procedure. Except as noted in section 9-5 below, disciplinary action taken pursuant to this article may be appealed to the grievance procedure as contained in Article V of this agreement. Except in the case of a written reprimand, grievances shall be initiated at Step II and shall be subject to the arbitration provisions of the grievance procedure.
