Applicability of Laws Clause Samples

The "Applicability of Laws" clause defines which local, state, national, or international laws govern the agreement and the parties’ conduct under it. Typically, this clause clarifies that all activities, obligations, and rights arising from the contract must comply with relevant legal requirements, and may specify particular jurisdictions or regulations that take precedence. By establishing the legal framework, this clause ensures that both parties understand their legal obligations and helps prevent disputes over which laws apply in case of conflict or ambiguity.
