Applicability of Sinking Fund Sample Clauses
The "Applicability of Sinking Fund" clause defines when and how a sinking fund provision applies to a particular financial instrument, such as a bond. Typically, this clause outlines the conditions under which the issuer must set aside funds periodically to retire a portion of the outstanding debt before maturity, specifying the schedule and amounts involved. By establishing these requirements, the clause helps ensure that the issuer systematically reduces its debt over time, thereby lowering default risk and providing greater security to investors.
