Common use of Appointment Availability Clause in Contracts

Appointment Availability. Wait times for Provider’s scheduled appointments shall not exceed 45 minutes, including time spent in the waiting room and the examining room, unless Provider is unavailable or delayed because of an emergency. If Provider is delayed, the Covered Person should be notified immediately. If a wait of more than 90 minutes is anticipated, Provider shall offer the Covered Person a new appointment.
