Appointment Types. With the exception of appointments to the positions of Lecturer, Senior Lecturer and Visiting Faculty as defined in this Agreement, and the reappointment of retired Faculty Members on special conditions, all full-time appointments to the rank of Instructor or higher shall consist of two types: (1) probationary appointments; and (2) appointments with continuous tenure.
