Common use of Approved Submittals Clause in Contracts

Approved Submittals. The Work shall be performed in accordance with approved Submittals required by the Contract Documents and Design-Builder shall not be relieved of responsibility for variations from requirements of the Contract Documents by City's approval of Shop Drawings, Product Data, Samples, or similar Submittals unless Design-Builder has specifically informed City in writing of such deviation at the time of submittal and a Change Order or Construction Change Directive has been issued, authorizing the variations. Design-Builder shall not be relieved of responsibility for errors or omissions in Shop Drawings, Product Data, Samples, or similar Submittals by City's approval thereof.
