ARCHITECT or ENGINEER. The architect, engineers and other professional consultants under contract to the AOC to provide design and construction documentation, and construction administration services for the project.
ARCHITECT or ENGINEER of Record. The termArchitect of Record” or “Engineer of Record” shall mean the specific University-approved Design Professional named in the applicable written Authorization who is the Design Professional's designated principal or staff member in charge of providing all services required by this Agreement.
ARCHITECT or ENGINEER. Where the term "Architect" occurs, it shall refer to an individual who is licensed to practice architecture in the State of Texas, and who is authorized by the Owner to administer this contract. Unless otherwise stated, "Architect" refers to the City of Arlington Construction Manager or his authorized representative.

If the Project is not designed or administered by an Architect or Engineer, Contractor agrees (a) that Contractor will construct the Project Agreement in accordance with design guidelines provided to Contractor by the UNF representative, and (b) that the Owner’s representative shall be vested with the authority of the architect in administration of the Work, including inspection and approval of the Work and approval or disapproval of Contractor’s Application for Payment. The Architect or Engineer, if any, is:

ARCHITECT or ENGINEER. An individual, part- nership, firm, corporation or other business organization un- der contract with the Owner, commissioned to prepare Con- tract Drawings and specifications, to advise the Owner and in certain cases, to perform regular inspections during construc- tion and when authorized to perform the duties of the Con- struction Administrator.

  • Architect/Engineer (A/E) means a person registered as an architect pursuant to Tex. Occ. Code ▇▇▇., Chapter 1051, as a landscape architect pursuant to Tex. Occ. Code ▇▇▇., Chapter 1052, a person licensed as a professional engineer pursuant to Tex. Occ. Code ▇▇▇., Chapter 1001 and/or a firm employed by Owner or a design-build contractor to provide professional architectural or engineering services and to exercise overall responsibility for the design of a Project or a significant portion thereof, and to perform the contract administration responsibilities set forth in the Contract.

  • Architect Engineer shall provide assistance to Owner through the commissioning consultant/agent for the purpose of advising and counseling Owner’s personnel in the usage, operation and maintenance of the building mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
