Common use of Area of Responsibility Clause in Contracts

Area of Responsibility. The Employer and the Union shall by mutual agreement determine the area and jurisdiction of each ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ having regard to the plan of organization, the distribution of employees at the workplace, and the administrative structure implied by the grievance procedure. The jurisdictional areas shall be defined in Appendix 1 of this Agreement. The Union shall notify the Employer in writing of the names of such appointments.
